Educational Objectives
- Interpret imaging visual patterns and pathological features of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other neuroinflammatory disorders on MRI scans.
- Correlate functional clinical neuroanatomy with the cross-sectional imaging appearance of demyelinating lesions and relevant structures.
- Understand clinical utility, advantages, and limitations of specific MRI sequences and protocols.
- Integrate imaging and clinical judgment skills to formulate appropriate diagnostic workups and follow-up strategies for patients with suspected neuroinflammatory disease.
Neuro-ophthalmological Workshop
Educational Objectives
- Interpret OCT, VEP, visual field tests, and fluorescein angiography in neuro-ophthalmic MS presentations.
- Integrate neuro-ophthalmological tools with updated diagnostic criteria for MS and related disorders.
- Promote multidisciplinary clinical collaboration for patients with visual symptoms and MS.
- Identify OCT advancements and areas of potential utilization in MS and other neuro-inflammatory conditions.
