Dr. Yaser Al-Malik is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the College of Medicine, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al-Malik is also a Consultant Neurologist and the Head of the Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroimmunology Division in the Neurology Department at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh. Additionally, Dr. Al-Malik serves as the Head of the MS Chapter at the Saudi Neurology Society. Dr. Al-Malik graduated from medical school at Qassim University in 2008. Dr. Al-Malik completed his residency training in Adult Neurology at the University of Calgary, Canada, in 2014. After becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, Dr. Al-Malik completed a fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology at the University of Calgary (2014-2016) and then completed a second fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology (2016-2017). In addition, his interest in teaching led him to pursue a Master’s Degree in Medical Education (2021). Dr. Al-Malik is involved in clinical research, including industry-sponsored trials, quality assurance projects, and registries. Dr. Al-Malik is also actively involved in teaching residents and medical students in various settings.
